well well well.... it is already mid month of jan liao le.. den i start writing my 1st post of the year.. hehe...

with a new start, means engine must start liao le.. i'm referring at work.. haha.. so is super busy that i start to neglect de time to blog.. wahhaha...

anyway this is a pretty short entry to help my bestie advertise her new blog on muffins.. do support her k? have tried and tasted before.. they are nice... =)

New Year Eveeee

today is new year eve... in a few hrs time, 2010 will be here.. how fast... time really really flies ya.. dun u agree?

anyway instead of squeezing with pple out there to experience the joy and fun of welcoming the new year, here i am sitting nicely in front of the comp, typing these away.. haha.. my boy is sitting besides me playing game.. muahaha.. wat a day to spend new year eve hor..

same as last year, will be meeting weini and her husband and parents to countdown.. hehe.. a simple way of celebration... my another sista will not be joining us coz she will be with another grp of frens.. though will not be physically ard, i believe we will have all de fun and deep down, wishing each other "Happy New Year" and bless each other that 2010 will be a great year.. new year, new resolution ya!~

so my resolution for a start is:
1) to finish blogging all the events for these 2 months.. super backlogged
2) to start exercising again.. the elders have been saying that i look good and nice at the current state i am in.. but i think i shld slim down hahaha.. (ok by this statement, many pple will kill me)
3) to save more money
4) to clear away old stuffs and make space for new ones.. hehe..
5) and the list goes on.......

May all my frens and loved ones, are having much fun out there celebrating the arrival of the new year.. even if they are staying at home, hopefully they can also "feel" the arrival of the new year...

Dramas... Movies....

recently have been gg after some dramas.. not long ago, just completed a korean drama, "You're Beautiful". Plot straight forward, ger placed twin bro to join a band, ger in loved with the band lead, and band lead gradually in loved with her after mountains and mountains of obstruction, den happy ending. haha..

Next, on gg taiwan drama <<下一站，幸福>>, by Venessa Wu and 安义轩。Fast moving plot in the beginning, but getting draggy now.. like the story and quite a few touching scenes acted by their "son". I actually cried wor.. the little boy is so adorable, fluent in the long long script and yet managed to act so innocently and cute.. =)

After months, and i finally stepped into the cinema again.. to watch "Avatar" in 3D. Nice... have de urge to watch it the 2nd time when i left the cinema.. hehe.. though sci-fic and unreal, still like de graphics.. +)

finally, caught another heartwarming and touching romance movie, uh hrm, at home.. hehe.. <<听说>>. Have watched de trailer previously, and thought it might b a quite nice show.. afterall.. romance is my cup of tea.. hehe.. really touching man.. however coz it is mainly talking abt de love between a couple through hand sign language, so most parts of the show, is reading the subtitles..

currently i still have <<宫心计>> and <<富贵门>>, both HK dramas.. haven't had chance to watch or rather din wan to start in case i got stuck and cannot stop.. whahaha..

so fast already de 30 Dec 2009 liao.. hehe.. wondering how you guys are gg to spend de new year.. =P

Weini's House Warming with 4A

Delicious food.. yummy..

group photos are always a must during gatherings..

we are trying real hard to take some photos that is not so formal and "serious" but somehow these photos still look not bad.. hahaha..

side note: these pretty nails lasted me for more than 3 weeks.. but due to the fact that my nails grew longer and i very chor lor, so to prevent hazardous things from happening (e.g. my real nails to be detached from my flesh), i decided to remove them... quite 舍不得.. coz they are really very pretty!!!.. ok they doesn't really look fantastic here, coz i realise i din really take photos of these nails..

now my fingers feel so bare yet 轻松..coz i can type in ease now with less noise and faster.... =)

these nails well receive praises and indeed make me float.. hahaa... but at times, they do bring some inconvenience.. like wearing and removing contact lenses.. typing, writing.. even button clothes take longer time.. hahaa.. unbelieveable right.. but still i like to look 美美.. so no matter wat, i will go do again.. but of coz only during special occasion la.. if not, it will definitely burn a hole in my wallet..

I shall continue with my backlogged of events.. haha.. basically during the month of October was visiting weini's hse, my france business trip and very busy with work.. so yah.. pictures shall do the blogging.. as usual.. heehee.. =)

Gathering with the gals @ Weini's Place

credits to weini's mum and weini for preparing all de lunch for us..

France Trip (for work!!!)

only managed to have a very very short stopover at Paris... less than a day xia.. so only visited some iconic places... will definitely go back to go up to all these places...

this is one nice place for mussels along Champ Elysees... quite worth for a big pot.. it was a set meal that comes with a free flow of fries.. the mussels are fresh and delicious.. the coke bottle is made of glass... will recommend this place if anyone is gg paris.. i will go dig out the namecard i have and post de name of the restaurant here...

the hotel is reasonably priced with free wireless internet wor.. was like abt 60 euros per night.. considered cheap le ba.. with heater and everything as well.. one thing i learned is that the hotel has no air-conditioned.. (ok i sua ku) but it was really chilly at night even with no air-conditioned...

surrounding of the hotels.. the hotel is among a row of restaurants.. like shophouses kind of look... the food there are so-so wor...

one of the pple who went rented a car... and coz we reached early before the meeting (we reached abt noon, and de meeting was next day), hence he drove ard.. and these are some pic where we had a mini stopover..

as the place i went was somewhere near the coastal, so after like 20-30 mins car ride... we reached some seaside... with seagulls... quiet quiet beach with almost no pple... clear sky, clear sea.. beautiful...

heard that brest has many lighthouse.. and this one seems to be a famous one but no longer in used liao le..

looks deserted... but still got quite a number of pple come visiting..

walked quite a distance with a big patch of land with a horse and a donkey... haha.. so weird hor.. out of nowhere only one donkey and a horse... beside this big patch is yet another big patch of vegetation..

this was my dinner after the 2nd day meeting.. top was my appetiser.. salmon, prawn and scallop; bottom was the main course, scallops on skewer.. the scallops are big, fresh and juicy.. yummy.. hahaa..

ok i din order 3 desserts... mine was the creme brulee.. the bottom right.. it was famous french desserts, made of custurd base and caremel harden top.,. very nice... and it is very common to see it in french menu..

ok this is de starters for the last day of dinner.. the top left was a raw plate with various shell like.. (not i order de) the oysters are so fresh that still can see them move... the small shell... i dunno wat does it called.. but it was nice to eat.. yes it is raw... probably still alive.. but it was nice... hahaha... very fresh...

the bottom right was wat i ordered... is some kind of fish soup that comes with bread and cheese.. eh i think is cheese.. dun rmb le.. quite a big bowl... heard that some find it too fishy.. but i feel it was ok.. and there is its own after taste.. nice.. but forget the name of it le.. haha..

ok finally home sweet home after all the busy 3 days meeting, where 1st 2 days ended at 8pm.. sigh.. anyway took A380 for this trip.. but i dun have de opportunity to go to the upper deck.. sad...

actually i bought some food to distribute from carrefour and CDG airport.. but nv took photos.. only took this macaroons that i bought at the airport... nice leh.. haha..

alright a super long post on my france trip.. yeah it is gg to be xmas!! hehe..

that's the date for today... so to mark this "special" date, i decided to blog.. haha.. haven been blogging for a while.. couple of events took place over the past few weeks, other than super busy with work.. and i felt i am drained off xia.. sian de lor... but nevertheless, happy stuffs are happening to perk me up.. =)

1) Attended my bestie's ROM last month
2) Went to the Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention, and see a super cool gundam cosplay
3) Perm my hair again
4) bf's bday celebration, had a sumptuous dinner @ a super class restaurant (Saint Julien)
5) had a memorable and shocking surprise from bf

4A Class Gatherings 2009

my sec class had a "10 Anniversary" Gathering last sat.. thanz to ronglun who took de initiative to organise this and it was really successful though not the whole class came... at least there were abt 30 out of 45 pple turned up.. very gd liao leh.. hehee..

a "door gift" specially made for this event.. thanz to RL once again.. our class motto "4A - People with an Attitude!" with our class goldfish logo.. very nice badge leh..

My New Gadget

bf had a surprise for me.. he bought me a new gadget which i have been eyeing for when i noticed a girl having it during one of my regular runs.. hahah.. the thought of having it gradually subsided when bf keep saying it is not worth buying since i already have an mp3 player.. haha..

tada... this is my new gadget.. cool gadget.. loving it.. hahaha..

anyway met up with my sistas on sunday evening for a pleasant dinner at bedok 85, after which we went mac for a chit chat session.. hahaha... grp photo for us before my dear ger, wanfen, gg to be bald in a couple of weeks time.. for charity.. =)

Was having an intention to watch Transformers this weekend, and today already have sneak preview le.. but wat surprise me is, the tickets from tonight till sat night, the cinemas are all almost 3/4 filled le... wah lao.. crazy right.. and that was abt 2 hrs ago when i checked the status.. so now at 5.30pm, i guess some have already left only those miserable single seats... crazy! hahaha.. probably now sch holiday ba..

sigh, hopefully i can get tix to watch.. gd seats de.. muahahha

A Bday Surprise

well, this post seems a little backdated.. coz it happened just a day before i flied to Japan.. my sistas and their bfs gave me a surprise bday with the well coordination from the middle man --> my bf..

how the surprise came about? bf called and said he left his keys behind at my place.. i never thought of anything coz this was not the 1st time he left his keys behind.. unaware of anything, and their plan was in progress, i headed down to the void deck to meet bf.. upon meeting him, happily talking to him on some stuff, while talking, my friends were in their standby hiding position and tada.. they went "Happy Birthday!".. really caught me in surprise man.. haha.. nv knew they came all the way here.. coz i tot in the 1st place they will come airport and gave me surprise.. wahhaa..

first, i am finally back to blogging again.. was too busy previously with work.. day in day out work and work.. sianz.... no time for myself also..

secondly i am back from my japan trip!!! i went osaka, nara, kyoto and finally tokyo.. went 10 days.. not with tours.. based on maps and research, walked on our own.. very fun but 10 days is really very short for so many places.. so mostly are touched and go.. will definitely go back again.. hehe..

so currently i have yet to settle down, absence for 10 days, so many emails to clear.. haha.. and bills to pay too... will soon post the many photos i took.. in total i almost took near 10 Gb of photos and videos.. haha.. crazy i think..

will soon blog again on my trip and i have to find time to edit the photos before uploading..

i have MIA for quite some time i guess.. wahaha... stagnant lifestyle.. nothing interesting = nothing to blog..

previously went 春到河畔... quite disappointing by the amount of stuff being displayed.... have been to the Sentosa Flowers 2009 during the CNY period.. nothing spectacular.. but i still insisted on going.. CNY was such a short span that it just went past just like that...

before the last day of CNY, went to Weini's place for dinner and a mini lou hei... and a fun time playing with her new WII.... tiring it can be.... pictures are only for self-viewing.. too weird to expose for public.. wahhaa..

and yesterday i went science centre.. courtesy to a colleague who happened to have free tix.. so why not, since it was ages that i visited science centre... it was raining heavily while on the way there.. and it quite dampened my mood a little.. can't take photos outdoor =(

this is my very 1st post of the year 2009..

last night was contemplating where to go for countdown.. can't decide and have no idea where to go.. previously sms weini if she will be home at night.. but she din reply.. so eventually headed down to city hall to catch fireworks.. even though the time near midnight was still a few hours away, the shopping malls, esplanade, the riverside, everywhere was already crowded with pple... quite pointless to aimless walk ard to wait for time to pass so as to catch the few min fireworks.. finally we went to weini's place after she welcomed us upon our request to visit her... heehee..

and her generous and great parents bought our supper too....

we had satay, hokkien mee, stingray, chicken wings and fishball... wahaha.. we had our fill last night man from the supper... hee..

after which, we played the xbox... it is sometimes quite entertaining to see pple bickering while playing game *grin* .... and we went back to our board game when we played @ Batam.. --> "Citadels" ... this game can be really addictive.. we only managed to play 1 game and we ended off the game at 3.30am... wahaha.. but it was fun!!

to end off, 3 sistas took the very 1st photo of the year 2009 with "traffic lights" cushion on weini's very new, comfortable sofa.. hee..

Christmas Trip to Batam

was having the intention to blog on my batam trip de.. but weini has a full and complete entry of it on her blog with pictures too.. wahaha.. so guys u can just visit her blog http://damahome.blogspot.com/... with all the descriptions.. hahaa... i shall just update with pictures.. =P

our 1st meal at batam was A&W, had the waffle.. was delicious.. haha.. i think coz long time nv had a chance to eat it le.. so find it super nice.. =)

we had our xmas gift exchange at the hotel rooms, accompanied by board games, choya, cup noodles.. and we had lots of fun and laughter.. we shld have this more often...

this size of coke can can be easily obtained from the hypermart and is super cheap too.. cute right.. haha..

oh and i must emphasize, the J.CO donuts are really nice.. somemore if dine in, buy the drink still can get a glazed donut free... super worth it.. and furthermore when i buy back to singapore, kept overnight in the fridge and reheat it the next day, it still tastes great.. missed them man.. *drooling*

aside from the batam trip, i came to realise, there is one mind's cafe at Tampines Safra wor.. don't have to go all the way to town to play board games le..

2 more days, and it shall be 2009 le.. anyone gg for countdown?? or wat activities are you guys having? care to share??? hmm i wonder if anyone still bothers to come visit my blog.... comments pls? tags pls??... wahaha.. sounds like i am so desparate for some response.. =P

first of all, i am sick!! sigh.. came back from batam and i fell sick.. fever, cough, flu, all come in a package, and to make it worse, i got diarrhea.. luckily now i got better with the medication after seeing a doc..

previously was at suntec, and saw an xmas tree made up of soft toys.. quite cute and unique wor.. and thus took a photo with it. .hehe..

during this xmas, i was away for a getaway trip at batam, thus did not reply to those whom sent me xmas wishes thru sms.. "Merry Christmas to Everyone" though it comes a little too late.. haha.. and for this year xmas, i received only one xmas card and came all the way from Korea.. Thanz Angel! =)

oh and before xmas, attended one of my sec sch friends, Hwee Lian's wedding.. it was at some association, and managed to have a mini catchup with the gers.. kind of weird and unbelievable, coz Hwee Lian always gives me an impression of a little girl image, and now she is already married before anyone of us..nevertheless, we give her our blessings and congratulations to her..

Standard Chartered Run 2008

another major event for this year... and i just finished my 1st half marathon (21.2km).. feel great with a great sense of achievement.. wahaha.. i finished the run in 3 hrs 09 min.. i estimated to finish in 3 hrs 45 min.. so i am like faster by 35 mins from my estimated time.. woohooo.. hahaa.. no photos this time round, as din manage to take photo, even though i brought camera.. sigh..

just got back from company's annual dinner.. left half way through coz it is located at orchid country club, quite far away from my place.. moreover i am tired and din wan to stay through.. no photos coz i nv bring camera..

and... i received a postcard which came all de way from korea!!! thank you angel!! muacks!! really glad you are doing fine over there, do jiayou k?

anyway this is a pretty short entry, nothing exciting to update abt.. have been pretty busy these days, and this busy period will last me till de end of this month or probably the end of this year.. =)

The New Paper Big Walk 2008

this morning went for the Big Walk.. Start at Suntec Fountain of Wealth and Finish at the Marina Barrage, with a total distance of 5km.. Good Weather to start with.. reached the area pretty early, and managed to secure a good place near the starting pt.. hee.. photos shall do the blogging.. =)

yeah finally finish, it was abt 8.45am when i reached the finishing pt.. the last 1km wasn't a really good walk, due to unfinished walk, and uneven, soggy, muddy, soft walkway.. it seems to be a temporary walkway for this big walk.. luckily nv rain last night, otherwise it would be a more difficult final 1 km walk

The Past

was browsing thru some of the past blog entries... deleted some away and saved most of them as draft.. realised i was pretty stress being a student.. wahaha.. but then those were the days.. and gatherings are getting really lesser these days... working life seem to be busier and is pretty hard to get everyone together especially when there is mismatch in everyone's timing... or maybe i am just lazy to even take the 1st step to organise one... =P

a couple of weeks back, my boss went for his honeymoon, and he came back with a gift for everyone of us...

Great Eastern Women Run 2008

so many pple participated in this run...

i completed the 10 km run in 1 hr 19 min.. sigh.. slow man.. was expecting myself to complete within 1 hr 15 min... but i guess it is still some accomplishment... i ran together with my cousin, she ran abt 1 hr 22 min.. nt bad nt bad... =)

din manage to take photo b4 the run coz preparing to start the run and had to deposit my bag.. only managed to take one using my cousin's hp before the flag off in the midst of the crowd.. we were actually quite a distance away from the starting as there were too many pple.. eventually after the flag off, by the time we reached the starting point, 2 mins has already passed.. so actually i ran, 1 hr 17 mins instead.. wahaha.. =P

after the run, had drinks, bananas, puddings, take photo using my camera as well as by their photographer so that we get printed 2R photos for free.. there is a backdrop banner which allows all participants to take with it.. but i din manage to have that taken, coz the queue was super duper long.. and waiting for the photos to be printed out was damn long too.. waited for abt 30 mins or so before we got our photos.. by then the crowd has already dispersed and it was already at the prize giving session..

last night attempted to load photos from my camera to the comp.. and it was ok.. but when i tried to access my drive, it was not accessible... so i restarted my comp.. and ended up with a error message "Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter"!!!! sigh.....

ahhhhh.... initially only wanted to blog on the new stuff i received... just wan to post some photos.. and ended up like that... i wonder wat's wrong with it.. and if my drive is gg to be dead... afterall, the OS drive has been serving loyally to me for abt 4 to 5 years le.. or maybe more that i have lost count on it...

the most exciting event that I had attended, would be the F1 Race.. i went to all 3 days.. I can say, it is awesome!!.. hahaa..

these days, my complexion hasn't been very good.. no more smooth smooth complexion, all i have now is an uneven and rough skin surface, i am refering to my face.... sigh...

october le.. so fast... 2 more months down the road, a new year comes again.. and age is catching up too... sigh...

it's already the middle of the week liao, and now then i blogged abt the past weekend.. was tiring yet happening =)

1) Saturday Early Afternoon
went to my boy's fren's baby 1st year bday.. we bought a set of precious moments cutlery which includes plate, cup, bowl, fork and spoon plus water bottle.. din manage to get a photo of it coz we ask the salesperson to wrap it up for us.. but it was pretty cute and nice..

2) Saturday Late Afternoon
went to Sentosa Palawan Beach for Siemens Family Day right after the event for the baby 1st year bday.. the weather was bad when we were heading there.. luckily there was only slight drizzle when we reached and after which it stopped.. a huge event i can say, with games going on, many food booths and a stage with a vocal MC... was crowded and lively.. i went there to eat with the available coupons.. coz nothing much i can do also.. there were fruit juice, bento, german sausages, whipped potato, cotton candy, popcorn, ice-creams, satay, kebah (i dunno how to spell), etc..

3) Sunday Early Morning
participate in SMRT Challenge.. was super duper crowded, so many pple participate.. with 3 categories, namely School, Family and Open.. i participated in the Open category.. was fun and tiring, running ard and solving the clues and mission.. but didn't win la.. just participate for the fun of it.. anyway it was free registration and was given a shirt and lotsa of goodies.. hee... shall join again next year for the Family category.. it seems easier to win coz less pple participate..

4) Sunday Early Evening
went to somewhere near my workplace for dinner with my family as a form of celebration for my dad's birthday.. the food was good and cheap.. hahaa.. had prawns, crayfish, fish, etc..

and that's all abt it.. a bit lor soh though.. no photos at the moment.. will update soon i guess.. this wk still got 2 weddings to attend.. wow... busy busy.....

chance upon a restaurant at Raffles City as wasn't able to decide wat to eat.. the food was great.. 1st time there and am impressed their dishes.. and quite affordable though might be considered a bit steep by some..

this is the rib-eye steak, a must-try dish on the menu.. nice!! especially the sauce.. just the smell of it, make me salivate.. hee... and the wedges was crispy at the outside and soft inside.. the asparagus was tender too..

i had this fillet of snapper which is also a must-try dish on the menu.. it was fresh and soft on the inside.. slightly crispy at the outside.. it was steaming hot when served.. and together with the slight tomato taste sauce, it was delicious..

this is their signature dessert.. it may look ordinary but the combination of the cold and warm makes it a good dessert for those with sweet tooth.. and the serving is quite large too.. this acts as another alternative to warm chocolate cake if one doesn't want something that is chocolate.. Thumbs up!

will definitely go back to this restaurant again to try out their other dishes.. given the fact their must-try dishes are already that superb, i believe the rest of the dishes must be quite good too... hee... was beaming with joy after a sumptuous dinner..

A brief summary of what's gg on for me
1) a couple of weeks back, i finally to hop on to the DHL balloon and managed to view the black knights performed while high up in the sky.. at some point of time, they seem so near..

2) a fortnight back, i went genting.. first time stepped into casino, and managed to won and lost a bit..

3) i signed up for great eastern women 10km run and standard chartered 21km run.. looking forward actually.. hee..

4) down with an eye infection today, so took mc to rest my eye..

that's abt it so far.. will update soon (i hope so).. hee.. ciao...

I have been doing OT for these couple of days and it seems like I have detached from the outside world. Hardly talked to anyone even my family and my boy other than my colleagues; no time to read or listen to the news.. things just revolved round work and meeting, meeting and work.. sigh.. dun like this kind of working OT life, but I guess everywhere is like that.. *shrugs* during this period, I have totally entered the world of my own.. this feeling sucks and I feel lonely.. initially already recovered from the “emo” state.. now I am slowly going to the state again.. =(

And I realize in the coming couple of months, the date “26” seems to be an auspicious date, let’s see:

1) 26 July – My secondary classmate, Joanna’s child, 1 yr old bday
2) 26 July – My cousin is holding her wedding
3) 26 July – I’m going to genting (hence I will miss my cousin’s wedding as well as joanna’s child’s birthday & the chance to meet with relatives and frens; I did not plan it such a way, all are pure coincidence, sigh..)
4) 26 Aug – my boy’s bday
5) 26 Sept – one of the days of the F1 race
6) 26 Oct – Great Eastern Women Race (still deciding whether to join or nt, weini is joining the 5km run with her mum, and weiling is joining the 10km run with her fren as well, whereas shir finds it expensive for the 10km run; so should I join??)

my dear fren, cynthia went on holiday to Egypt a couple of wks back.. earlier on, we met up with the rest of the gers, and mentioned that she sent us a postcard each when she was there.. and she did.. "Thank you Cynthia!!!"

but the postcard arrived pretty late.. long journey post.. hee.. she was back last wk.. and i only received the postcard yesterday.. but anyway it's cool and interesting plus this is a 1st time i received a postcard from overseas de wor.. hee.. angel did mentioned she will do the same when she goes to korea, so yah, angel, dun forget hor.. i will be waiting.. hee.. thanz in advanced.. =P

2 days ago, 2nd July, was the "first anniversary" of my working life.. time passes like shutters speed x10000000....., and with just a blink of the eyes, one year has passed... what i have gained from this one year of working? frankly speaking and sad to say, not very much... but knew that things are never as simple as i initially started off as a noob (though i am still a noob now), and there are many many kinds of pple ard.. even more different kinds than in those during sch days.. wahaha.. it sounds like working life sux .. or probably this current job isn't the ideal job that i am looking for or want to do..

and these days i am super duper emo.. probably PMS, but i realised that i am somehow suffering from "depression"... yeah i believe "depression is the word... coz i googled online and check for the symptoms of depression.. and i have experienced most of them or if not 50% of the symptoms.. my boy said that i am crazy to go googled such stuff, probably indeed i am crazy.... but if i can still "happily" typing all these sh*t, i should be doing fine, i guess.... however I have to the extent of tearing when on the bus ride home, while listening to a mixture of sad and happy songs.. how terrible..

my inner self knew about the things that are happening ard me, but i have no idea of how to handle certain stuffs, to the extent that i start to avoid.. and i hate it.. it feels horrible.. with fear, worries and sadness engulfing me... i really dunno wat will happen next, and i am scared to know the outcome, afraid the outcome will turn out worse and ugly.. and i am afraid to even make the 1st move to give it a try.. sigh.. i believe once again, i might be thinking way too much and giving myself unnecessary stress..

on sat night i attended one of my jc classmates wedding dinner, known as the Sangeet; it was a marriage between a chinese and a skih.. so it was a very different wedding dinner that i have attended.. it was at the singapore swimming club.. nice buffet dinner and the entertaining performance that alternate between the 2 ethnic group so as to keep everyone is the ballroom occupied.. din manage to talk to the bride but did manage to catch up with the rest of the classmates a little..

but then from the so-called gathering, i realised i am quite detached from my frens le.. or probably it is just me, i dun seem to be able to talk to all of them (the group of us were actually divided into 2 tables) or probably i din make an effort to approach them to have a little chat.. den ended up i feel kind of lost and dunno wat to do.. but manage to stay through the night.. i believe it is just me.. haven been myself these days.. probably due to the stress of work ba.. sigh...

to end off, we manage to get a group photo with the bride and groom..

apart from that, i received the F1 passes le.. hee.. and it comes in a parcel which comes in a box for individual person..

the weather in the morning these days are super duper humid... den is like already sweating while preparing to go out to work.. sigh... dislikes warm morning... doesn't give a refresh start of the day..

anyway today start off with the usual humidity.. and not only that, i discovered my red patent heels to have a hole at the left heel portion.. sigh.. and this pair of shoes i only wore for abt 4 times... really like the pair of red heels.. so careless man.. probably cause it to have a hole while squeezing with pple on the buses on the way home yesterday.... sian.. and this spoilt my mood....

to add on to my misery, the lower eyelid of my eye got swollen.. slight swollen though.. but it feels very uncomfortable and a hurting sensation when i blinked.. dunno wat caused it.. hope it goes away soon...

and during work, i almost tripped by walking a narrow passageway due to obstructing item, den ended up i tore my pants with my heels in the event of falling.. sigh.. luckily the pants has inner lining so it is not that obvious with the aid of double sided tape..

sigh suay day man.. .

weekend soon to come, and attending a fren's wedding tmr.. busy month ahead... sigh... busy busy... =(

colleagues decided to have pizza hut, so today went to amk to have pizza.. we were happily discussing on what to eat and eventually settled on our orders..

*tick tock, tick tock*

every second, every minute just went passed like that while we were chatting.. and gradually the place was filled with crowds.. probably abt 15 mins later, we were still wondering where our drinks were... finally we asked the waitress to have our drinks served and the drinks came only abt 5-10 mins later...

*tick tock, tick tock*

after another 15 mins, we were wondering where our soup were.. requested again for our soup to be served.. as our table have the soup served earlier, the soups were filled with small chicken slices... our next table (also my colleagues), their soups had hardly anything inside.. hmm ... at this point of time, some customers had already cancelled their orders and left after waiting for so long...

*tick tock, tick tock*

so we all have our soups drank and drinks half-drank, our pizzas weren't here yet.. at this moment, all of us were already very hungry and waited for more than 45 minutes.. and after several time of requests, then slowly our orders came.. my table, we ordered group set lunch.. and guess what, the super supreme pizza and the crispy thin hawaiian pizza was hardly burning hot from oven.. in just a while, our pizzas were cold.. =(

so in the end, we waited super long for our food with no apologies or reasons on the long wait; not very happy face on the waitresses and manager as if we offended them in a way or another; disorganised arrangement of serving the food; food that are not hot from oven... sigh... why like that.. even though our bills get waived on a certain percentage, this did not appease us at all..

sigh.. they shld have more training and organised to handle crowds during lunch.. as a result, a looked-forward lunch became so unhappy that we hardly enjoy our meal..

Agitated over the fact that why are there so many reckless drivers!?? aiyo!! cannot take it..

and why are bus passengers so selfish?? i have to change buses to reach back home..

1) so for the 1st bus ride, for several stops, pple will only get up from their warm seats and rushed for the exit when the bus is gg off from the bus stop.. 1 or 2 passengers have already alighted; but becos of these pple, the bus has to stop again and let them alight.. why can't they just get up early and head towards the exit? i admit the bus was a little crowded, but that doesn't affect one to make a little early move to prepare to alight right?? sigh..

2) and one of those pple who was rushing for the exit, the guy stood there for a while to look for his wallet.. oh gosh, he already held up others by rushing to the exit last min, and still stood there to look for wallet.. sigh x 2

3) on the 2nd bus ride, and again was crowded, and finally i managed to get a seat.. but i happened to sit beside the standing area of the double-deck bus.. and someone just happily stood there and leaned against to the seat i was sitting and his back is touching against my arm.. argh.. and i was like so cramped in the little seat.. not only that he raised his arm high to hold on to the pole and his armpit is just to my eye level when i was sitting.. ewww.. disgusting... sigh x many many times

4) finally he got to alight after a few stops.. but again.. another guy stood there and did the same thing... and he has some body odour, which i can't take it.. luckily i was gg to alight le.. and i just moved off and proceed to the exit...

are pple not being considerate enough or am i too particular... ?? i still think that some pple just only think of themselves and did not spare a thought that there are still many others taking the same public transport with them... sigh sigh..

A day of Relax and Indulge

it was our 1st year anniversary!

spa treatment at changi village hotel where there is an outdoor whirlpool jaccuzi with seaview -> a relax treat for ourselves from the busy and stressful work

dinner at Equinox, 70 storey high, with great views... and the night views are comparably beautiful as that during the day time.. and manage to catch the sunset as well.. which is too, beautiful..

both are paid for their ambience and scenery.. the massage at the spa wasn't that great and comfortable.. and the food at equinox doesn't have the appealing attraction that would let you want to go back again.. probably go back for the ambience and scenery rather than the food.. in my opinion...

A great day of relax and indulge..

好快呀， 4月即将过去了，不久前才刚过生日，接下来临的就是劳动节了。终于盼到一天的公共假日了，可以好好休息了。忙忙碌碌过着每一天，生活变得平平淡淡，一个月就这样过去了。

近来的心情起伏不定，特别容易发脾气，也特别情绪化。还动不动就摆出那种“你别接近我，不然你就遭殃”的脸。要怪，就怪在近来的天气很热，闷闷的。本来是心情好好的，也给这样的天气弄得不好。

昨天在回家的路上，听到身旁的两个女人的对话，其中说到我的包包是假的。听到的时候，当然感到不适滋味啦。这一短短的对话还真影响了我的情绪。但回想起来，我也只能说那两个女人是无知吧。而我呢？我也好不到哪里去，为了她们小小的对话而影响了我的情绪，还真的有点不值得。虽然名牌，但包包只不过是一个包包，只是一个物质上的需求。hai, 或许我想太多了。

渐渐的，我开始为未来担忧。未来会是怎么样，没人能预知。现在呢？我只能一步一步地走，为未来有些计划和打算吧。或许我又想太多了。

My Birthday!!!

I had fun-filled birthday.. 1st of all is the visit to the Singapore Flyer.. kind of excied.. hee.. i thought it would be rather empty.. but it turned out that there are quite a number of people there... Enjoyed the ride even though it was just 30 minutes and i took lots of photoss.. haha.. Nice scenery from the cabin.. at the start of the ride, the sky was dark and it was drizzling.. but that doesn't dampened my mood for the ride coz at least it was not raining heavily and towards the end, the sky actually opened up.. so eventually i still managed to take nice photos with good lighting.. hee..

and after the ride, was having an intention to explore the place.. and right after that, i was startled and surprised by my sistas' appearance.. they had pre-arranged with my boy to give me a surprise without my knowledge.. and they actually bluffed me that they aren't able to celebrate with me coz they had sth on.. and i believed them!!! haha... and at the very moment, the girls presented me with their present.. so lovely!!

so we went for dinner at shokudo, the branch at citylink... not bad a place to dine in.. the service crew who is a lady, her service is good... the pastas arent that bad.. but the desserts kind of cannot make it.. they are edible not very fantastic.. with dinner and desserts, birthday cake cannot be missed during a bday.. so thanz to them, i get to have a slice of cake and a little candle on top.. and that marks the end of my bday celebration.. simple yet enjoyable and memorable.. =)

my boy did this for me.. cute right!!!? the left side is the 1st layer with present and ribbon in the centre; the right side is the 2nd layer with Happy Bday on it.. so lovely!! and he mentioned is the 1st time he prepared such a stuff.. heee....

Today is my birthday! hah.. happy birthday to myself!!

was on the cab after work last night when the clock strikedq 12.. so i mumbled to myself, "Happy Birthday"... silly.. probably.. but is just a way to wish myself.. =)

my boy surprised me with a pair of tix to the singapore flyer which he bought 4 mths ago.. hah.. a bit way to early to buy tix but this shows he made an effort to plan it b4 hand.. hee.. though some pple might said that a ride on the singapore flyer might be a waste of money, i still think can at least get a ride on it.. after all it will become one of singapore's attraction.. *shrugs*

i guess there wouldn't be much of a celeration other than a simple dinner and the ride at singapore flyer.. and my sistas wouldn't be able to celebrate with me today coz they are both busy with their individual events.. a bit sad though coz 难得 my birthday falls on a sat.. probably i am just too "heng" haha.. somemore have been working real late for the past wk.. haiz... energyless to think of ways to celebrate my bday...

yawn.. nap time... to rest more for an enjoyable birthday later.. =)

on MC today... sigh... had a bad stomachache way early in the morning like 4+ am... no matter how i turned, tossed, crunched, the pain didn't go away.... affected my slp for the day.... dunno wat caused the pain, probably is the combination of popeyes chicken (oily) + chocolat factory orange bits & cocoa (too much choco) + chocolat factory coffee bean bit & cocoa (too much caffeine).. the coffee bean bit & cocoa is the real coffee bean bit that hasn't be processed into powdered form.. the salesperson said eating 3 bits of the coffee bean bit & cocoa is equivalent to 2 cups of coffee..

and now due to lack of slp, i am suffering a terrible headache right now... it sucks... popping medication doesn't has instant effect.. hah... but how i wish they are miracle pills that can ease the pain and let the pain go away... sigh...

Eventful Weekend!!

Weekend was fun and tiring.. haha..

SATURDAY
First was my colleague's place at fernvale, a kind invitation from him... stayed a while and i left for sentosa... for what right?? i went to there to see flowers since it is like once in a year.. =P den right after that went to see chingay.. blur me.. nv did my research properly, and thought it was the same as usual, venue in orchard.. luckily the banner stated that the chingay has been shifted to city hall.. and luckily manage to secure one good spot to view everything.. and guess what... i manage to catch the F1... haha.. and even recorded a very short video of it.. haha... excited wor...

SUNDAY
went to my sec sch teacher's place... this year will be the 10th yr that i have been gg le..i think so ba.. been gg since 1999... cool hor.. haha.. but the number gg are getting smaller and smaller.. really small.. and my group is the most senior among those who went.. steady hor.. haha...

and after that guess wat? i went for the ducktours!! be a local tourist... actually intention last year was to just go for the DHL balloon, and happened at that point of time that was a promotion gg on, that for the price of just $66, i get to have 3 rides, the DHL balloon, the ducktours and the hippo tours... but weather hasn't been good ever since last dec, so haven't went for it yet.. and luckily the expiry date can be extended for 3 more months.. so i dun have to rush for it b4 the expiry date.. good hor.. heee...

it has been a month ever since i last update my blog..

BUSY is the word i used to describe my daily life for the past one month.. and the only free time i had was the weekends.. or a partial of the weekend... kind of sad hur.. due to work, thus less free time... =(

anyway it is gg to be year end soon and holidays mood are all around.. wish everyone happy holidays, merry xmas and a happy new year!~ Enjoy this fun filled season!~ =)

my desktop failed me when it was working perfectly normal just now.. and that after that error msg received and the idea of restarting the comp would well solve the prob... but then after a while of usage, the screen turned weird with couple of green lines and thick ones somemore.. and eventually able to power up but not being able to boot up... hope my hard disk is still safe and fine and nothing is wrong with it.. otherwise i can well knock myself against the wall...

argh.... bad wk.... things dun go smoothly during work, and i am nt doing well on wat is expected... working life.... probably this job doesn't suit me or rather i dun suit this job.. boohoo...

went to watch fireworks on 17 Aug (fri) and 18 aug (sat).. i prefer the one on fri coz much nicer, less smoke, and less crowded... but still i'm contented that i went to catch de fireworks though it is nothing really that fantastic.. =P

and i had a haircut... no longer very straight long hair.. the length is like not long not short.. kind of weird cutting de hair.. looks ugly.. ha.. every time after a new change of de hairstyle, i always think i look ugly.. ha.. nevertheless i think i look slightly different.. hahaa..

catch the movie, "License to Wed", thought it might be really funny, ended up not that really great.. give it 3 stars out of 5... next movie to catch probably "Hairspray", den waiting for "Ratatouille" to come.. haha..

ah.. that's how i spent my weekends... nothing really exciting.. and tmr is monday again.. gg back to work.. and counting down to the next weekend... haha.. and also looking forward to pay day... ^_^

i left my blog dead for some time.. and now i am back with some updates...

so i have already started work for a mth le.. so far so gd.. still picking up stuff.. colleagues are friendly and nice.. but i am those quiet quiet type.. so i dun tend to speak up.. so it is kind of like hmm no gd.. i dunno la.. trying to be more talkative..

so wat i have been doing lately? i seem to be on disappearing act esp online.. haha..

day time working.. den night time come back rest and watch tv.. like couch potato..and with all de stuffs that i brought to office to eat,candies, biscuits, snacks, pocky, etc etc... and the tea breaks i had, i am already accumulating fats esp ard my tummy.. =(

Events/Places i went for de month of July/Aug:
1) Went Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel to attend my cousin's wedding.. de food was gd.. and i get to c my nieces and nephew.. and nt to say my aunt and uncle who flew all de way back from Perth..

and i got sick right after the wedding the next day.. probably due to the overwhelming of food that i ate and i caught a cold due to the strong air con.. till now i am almost recovered but nt totally for my cough.. and i seem to be spreading virus.. i heard some corners in de office where pple are coughing.. hmm.. some of colleagues said my virus is latent.. even pple dun come in close contact with me, can get it.. *sad*

2) Meet up with some Sec 2B girls to go Cafe Iguana b4 hsiu ching flies to the states to work cum training.. hmm actually by now she is already over there.. the place's ambience is cool.. shld have gone afresco.. but anyway staying indoor wasn't that bad as well...

3) Attended my Convocation!! Fun and tiring.. haha.. i envied angelina having a big soft toy with a custom made graduation gown.. and i dun have.. =( but as a consolation, i got a bouquet of beautiful flowers *wink*

4) went to c NDP rehearsal fireworks... not nice de.. so much smoke.. and so many pple.. haha.. but i enjoyed myself that day.. haha.. thanz to that special someone.. hee..

5) went shopping at orc last sat.. went on a shopping spree.. haha.. jacket, cardigen, a pair of wedges, muji pens, biotherm eye cream and that goes my 1st pay.. haiz... money nt enuff... still have a huge education loan to repay.. sian....

6) went zouk last sat as well coz ntu alumni party was held there.. went there to see see look look... got buffet somemore.. but i went on a full stomach.. wasted.. and heard the food was so much nicer than during my convocation.. haha.. anyway the event was nt too bad.. quite enjoyable though i dun drink..

kind of a last min yet long entry.. will try to find time to organise photos and post them here.. otherwise some photos are uploaded in my friendster le.. hahaa..

not longer a student and already started working life... it is really different.. ha.. was getting tired by the days when i was only just reading... but time seems to pass a little faster... today already wed, mid-wk... and soon weekend is here again..

i've succeeded in baking cupcakes in my 1st attempt.. i am so happy.. and it turned out nice and neat as wat my cousin commented... haha.. although it is just simple baking, to me, i am really a noob and have nv baked anything b4.. so when it turned out unexpectedly nice.. i am overjoyed.. hahaa..

i shall bake it de next time to improve on it with better toppings.. haha.. woohoo...

1) My right ear is bigger than my left ear.. but not very obvious unless i tied up my hair..

2) I have never been to Night Safari.. (thinking real hard wat i can type.. so i somehow "copy" from angel..haha... but this is a true fact of me leh..)

3) I can't slp more than necessary, like slping in.. if nt i will have headache for the whole day...

4) I am still using my pri school children's day present given when i was in pri 2 which was in de yr 1992.. it is a pen holder... (shld post it one day, hahaha)

5) i still keep my pri sch hobbies collection which includes all kinds and shapes of erasers, magnets and stickers..

6) i love kids.. and i hope to be a young and modern mum.. haha.. but i doubt so la.. just one of my dreamz? hee.. .

7) before i threw away my magazines and newspaper, i cut out articles, tips or instructions on makeup,skin care, food, health care... and to the extent of making a scrap book myself to paste all the cut outs...

8) i like my hair straight straight even though it is straight enough.. curl too much or even a bit, i will make a big fuss over it..

9) i used to cry over bad hair cut... to the extent of standing in front of the mirror combing and meddling with the bad hair cut while crying... haha.a. dumb i know..

10) finally the 10th one, i took so long to reach here.... haha.. i don't watch horror movies...

i am now truly a graduate.. today is de release of results.. and it got released at those weird hours.. like past midnight? i checked my results at ard 12.20pm like that.. and it already took ages to load..make me so nervous... =S

but anyway i can say my results aren't that bad.. and i got the degree as expected...

and this really makes de end of my student life... and i am gg to be joining the workforce soon enough.. and experience the ups and downs of working life.. phew.. i hope i can adapt and make it thru.. afterall i will have a long long way in the working society..

finally i went out for some activity under the sun after much slacking and nuaing.. hee..

i went east coast park early in de morning on sunday to go cycling.. reached there ard 8.20am.. woohoo.. early in the morning on sunday were already filled with pple ard for morning run and with quite a number of tents ard..

anyway rent a bicycle for 5 bucks for 2 hrs, with one hr and de other hr free.. cycled from one end of east coast park to the other end within 2 hr.... wah.. really tiring man.. and under the super hot sun.. esp after 1 hr of cycling.. i forgot my sunblock and my cap.. boohoo.. my arms got really tanned now.. but anyway the whole thing was really fun.. 1st time cycled from one far end to the other end.. it feels GREAT~~ =D

after that had mac breakfast.. den go parkway walk walk.. had venezia waffles and the warm chocolate cake.. yummy.. but the waffles doesn't taste as good as gelare de.. hee...

with a tiring work out early in de morning on sunday, i was totally worned out.. had a bath and i totally concussed.. haha... like lack of slp.. =P

ok i have been on disappearing act on blogger for quite some time.. i wasn't able to blog using my home comp, i have no idea why, it always shows up some problems...anyway i am contented enough that i can finally blog..

exams been over abt 2 wks ago.. life starting to change as i am considered a graduate.. do wat is de norm --> look for jobs!! but at the moment no news at all.. kind of sian.. been slacking right after the exams, been eating alot too, esp junk and chocolate.. i am putting on weight and my face getting rounder *argh* =(

pple ard me have been gg on grad trips, hope to see them all when they are back.. as for me i am nt gg anywhere; i am staying in singapore.. ha..

went back to ntu yesterday to pass my prof the bounded copy of my fyp report.. and take some photos in sch.. ha.. will post them again next time..

as for the title, i have known these pple for a decade.. and had a meetup as a little celebration on it.. we din call upon many pple as we decided to have manageable numbers.. at first was 10 girls, 2 got shift work, and de other got hospitalised.. well.. we just have a handful of 7 pple.. but it turned out smooth and fun.. =P

we went ms clarity cafe.. de other time shir and me went to check out the place and it is worth gg.. and i like the dessert i ordered "mud ooze" really nice.. hahaa.. =P

Musical Fountain~

well well.... musical fountain gg to close down soon.. real soon.. it mentioned 26 mar it will close le.. so b4 it is gone, went to catch it...

but weather was nt gd.. went for the 7.40pm show, it started to rain at 7.30pm, by 7.45pm, it was raining heavily... haiz.. had to leave that place to seek shelter at the Sentosa Express Station.. a distance back.. but luckily i got umbrella and there is the station of the Sentosa Express if not will get really drenched =P

took the Sentosa Express to the next station and loitered ard there, and just nice it was abt time for 8.40pm show, so went back for it as de rain started to lighten and gradually stopped... so after all the trip was not wasted and a different one ^_^

but sad to say i din take many photos.. only video-recorded some parts of the show.. will upload it soon i guess..haha...

the above trip sounds like i went alone.. ha..

hope tmr will be as fun-filled as today =D

lunch time... my top got stained from mee rebus.. and i smelled of mee rebus for the rest of the day.....

while helping out in setting up the antenna, i hit my head against the metal door leading to the rooftop with a loud bang.....

i tripped and fell while trying to catch the lift, and fell on fours......

i pricked my thumb when trying to screw the nut......

i lost sth out of my belt.......

i got to realise a few hrs ago that i have to go sch tmr when i dun have classes......

what a day!~ sIgH......

i did it!~ woohoo....

i went to participate women's outdoor challenge, 8km run.. shir was de one who asked me if i am interested.. so join for the fun of it.. initially was like "die la, sure walk for most of the distance, since i haven been running like more than a yr"

and it turned out perfectly alright, managed to finish ard 1 hr 10 mins? 1 hr 7 mins? 1 hr 5 mins? shld be ard this timing.. din really check out de timing when i finish de run, hope they will put it somewhere so that i can check.. ^_^

it was quite fun, even though my legs got wobbly after the run, but after a while and stretching, it was fine.. so shiok!!. hahaa..

it seemed like it was gg to rain when we were about to leave.. but it ended not raining.. =P but the sky was nice..

after the whole event, went home take a shower and went out again.. meet shir right after to go ms clarity cafe for dinner.. nice ambience, food was good and affordable.. not those high-end kind, i can say is, it is a nice place to hang out.. :P

and.... went siglap after dinner to meet another grp of frens... haha...

and........now is 1.50 am, i am right here blogging.. hahaa..

finally, i have something interesting or somewhat interesting, other than sch work.. ha.. .

really really busy these few days.. phew.. hardly have enough rest.. been looking at comp till my eyes see stars.. ha.. anyway i went for NTU for open hse last sat as my prof needs a little help for the booth in audi.. i went rather late in de afternoon when de crowd had already subsided.. hee.. so nothing much for me also.. din really walk ard.. coz aren't interested.. =P

the little booth we had on de project to be shown.. it is done by another fyp grp and a master student de..

while waiting for the trolley to be there for us to bring the stuffs back to the lab, and we were de last to clear out from de area when the rest had already gone, and people were already dismantling the setups.

that's all about it for my past wk.. nothing exciting.. as everything revolves ard school.. even my weekends are burnt.. ha.. anyway hope that this wkend i will have an exciting one.. and i think i will... must destress a bit.. ha..
